Apply a Designer effect

1. On the workspace or in the picture list, select the objects or grouped objects you want to modify.
   
   
2. On the Effects menu, click Designer Effects.
   
   
3. To apply an effect, click its preview in the gallery.

Tips

• If you want to modify only part of the object, you can use options on the Cut Out workpane to select the areas you want to change. Ways to select an area
  
  
• To view more options, click Settings at the top of the workpane. Change settings for a Designer Effect
  
  
• If you click another effect in the gallery, the new effect replaces the original one. To lock the original effect so that you can combine it with another effect, click Lock Effect. Combine Designer Effects
